Street Hawk(1985)
Street Hawk was a show about Jesse Mach, a police officer who was chosen to test a top secret vehicle project named "Street Hawk". His partner Norman Tuttle was responsible for the super bike's design, which he also built himself. Tuttle chose Mach as the only suitable candidate to ride Street Hawk, which Mach would use to fight crime. Many believe that the show came a bit too late. By 1985, most of the super vehicle themed television shows had already gone as tv shows were heading into a new direction. The show only lasted for 13 shows and was canceled then after.
Tangerine Dream composed the opening theme, and a modified version (which features in the pilot episode during the sequence where Jesse takes the bike out for the first time) appeared on their album "Le Parc", titled "LA - Streethawk".
